We coordinate care with your child’s primary physician and provide records of your visit for the continuation of care. If pediatric specialty care is needed, we will help facilitate timely follow up.

Yes, we provide flu shots during the season.
We participate with LabCorp and Quest. In addition, we can complete testing for flu, mono, strep, urinalysis, pregnancy test etc. in our onsite lab.
Yes, we are opened weekends and most holidays. Our holiday hours may vary, call or check website for holiday hours.
Yes, we have an x-ray machine on site. X-ray studies are read by board-certified radiologist with results available in as little as 30 mins.
Under certain circumstances we close our office for bad weather. Please call (240) 499-8664 prior to coming in to make sure we are still open.
Because we are designated as a pediatric urgent care facility, no referral is necessary to be seen
We evaluate and treat infants, children, teens and young adults till age 21.
Dr. Nana A. Adu-Amankwa is a board-certified pediatrician, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the society for pediatric urgent care.
After completing her undergraduate studies at The George Washington University in Washington DC she earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in OH. She went on to complete her pediatric internship at Howard University Hospital and pediatric residency including an additional chief residency year and fellowship training in neonatal/perinatal medicine at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC. Her interests include newborn care, early childhood development and pediatric urgent care.
We offer COVID-19 PCR Testing for ADULTS and CHILDREN.
If you are 1) uncertain or concerned that you or your child may have been exposed to the virus or have symptoms, 2) traveling and need proof of COVID-19 PCR testing, or 3) in need of testing for pre-operative purposes come see us and #GetTested. Call us at (240) 499-8664 or walk in.
Our current hours of operation are Monday to Friday 12pm to 6pm; Saturday 8am to 2pm.
We continue to monitor all updates from CDC, AAP, local government agencies and health department. For the safety of our staff and patients we are continuously sanitizing our rooms/equipment during and at the end of the day.
We are encouraging social distancing and other measures to flatten the curve. We are asking that only one parent/guardian accompany sick child(ren) for their visit. These are evolving and unprecedented times. We remain committed to providing the best care possible to our patients and families. Stay safe!
